My name is Max (or Mr. Zsol if you rather, but I’m not much for formalities.) I’m a former artist and pro engineer-slash-marketer. It is a strange combo, but what are you gonna do, it is what it is. You can’t run from who you are.
For over 15 years I’ve worked as a technologist in the field of marketing and advertising in that strange area where creativity and technology mix (or try to). I’ve worked for top Fortune 500 companies, using their advertising budget to bring entertainment stories to the public. I have been a storyteller for all my career, I just so happened that I used interactive mediums to tell the stories of my clients.
I am an avid reader of science fiction. I devour everything related to robots and artificial intelligence (fiction and non-fiction) and I have a particular inclination for stories that deal with the mysteries of the human mind and our perception of reality. Behind all these stories lie those universal questions that escape easy answer:
- Why is there anything instead of nothing?
- What’s the meaning of life?
- Is the world real?
- Am I real?
- Are you?
I am starting a new journey in fiction writing. It’s not a new beginning, as much as another medium to continue solving riddles and telling stories.
I intent to document my journey in this blog. I blog about everything related to writing in the digital age, self-publishing, marketing for writers, of course, science fiction and other forms of fiction writing.
To find your own answers to the cosmic questions of life and to share this writing journey with me, you can read my blog and my stories.
