How to remember everything
How to make up for bad memory and have a perfect recollection.
My number one trick is to operate as if I had no memory whatsoever.
If you behave as if you couldn’t remember a single thing you wouldn’t complain about forgetting some things. You would instead create a new system for remembering all things. That system for some people is their brains, but not for you. For you, it must be something different.
The reason why many productivity books fail is you are unique. You have your quirks, things that attract your interests, things that resonate with you and only you. And those things are unique to you. Use a coloring label system is what you’d dig. Or maybe it’s a new notebook. Or maybe an app on your phone.
Whatever it is, be mindful, and intentional about what you chose. And to make it work, follow one rule. Assume you’ll forget everything and this system is to be used 100% of the time.
Allow yourself to forget all things.
Use a system 100% of the time.
